The main ("realtime") panel shows you a realtime graph of your memory providing you with an easy way to keep your RAM and CPU usage under control. The Optimize now! button performs a full optimization of the whole system memory.

The "advanced" panel contains detailed information about your system's memory, physical and pagefile. This page contains a configurable memory restoration tool which allows you to clear just the selected amount of memory.

The "automated" panel allows you to specify whether or not dRAMatic should run on startup, and allows you to define memory "limits" for automatic defragmentation.
When enabled, the automatic defragmentation monitor will try and maintain the amount of free available RAM over the specified limits while keeping an eye on CPU usage.
System-wide HotKeys (Alt+F11 and Alt+F12) are always active, even when you're using another program (e.g. Word, Excel, and so on...). They're the easiest way to free up RAM exactly when you need it without leaving the program you're working on.

When you minimize dRAMatic, it sits down in the system tray. It doesn't bug you, but you can easily access its optimization functionalities through a handy pop-up menu (right-click). And if you click the tray-icon once with the left mouse button, it will show you the detailed memory status inside a smart tooltip.
